lyrics
Secrets buried deep
In the blood the giant sleeps
Wolves howl lepers weep
Bleeding heart, good to eat
Hail the star! Hail the sender!
With the beings of the dark agenda.
Reptile eyes changing form
Racing shadows violent storms
Alpha Draconis
Serpent lord of the dark abyss
The Goodguy badge meek and mild
How you cry like wounded child
Weakness tears Human nature!
Now the cull Is gonna take you.
Hail the star! Hail the sender!
And the beings of the dark agenda.
Reptile eyes changing form
Raising shadows violent storms
Alpha Draconis
Serpent lord of the dark abyss
Jelousy, what you lack
Ignorance is on attack
Lack of honor, ego great
Lest you die you bound to fate
Hail the star! Hail the sender!
And the beings of the dark agenda.
Reptile eyes changing form
Raising shadows violent storms
Alpha Draconis
Serpent lord of the dark abyss
If you cry human nature
Im on a cull and im gonna take you
Most of life goes unseen
So you can guess what i mean
Black....
Poison Shadow
Black shadows
Oh please

I've enjoyed The Wake since the 90s. The new album feels like a trip to right where they left off! Goth Rock at it's best! I can't wait to see where they go from here!! aklosowski22

New wave of Gothic Rock at it's finest. This band has top level talent from well renowned acts involved so wasn't the least bit surprised upon hearing the opening track. If you miss late 80's to mid 90's gothic rock bands, I can't recommend this one enough. m4rkos1334
Blood Relative is Publicist's latest post-punk salvo from the Forgive Yourself LP, steered by Zachary Lipez's unnerving baritone. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 17, 2015
Cinematic-scale goth from Reflection Black with catchy melodies, dreamy synths, punchy rhythms, and a sense of timelessness. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 21, 2023
